C: Is for Wall Street gets a new Club!

The Setai Club—the new outpost of the legendary Miami hotel/condo/restaurant/member's club/recording studio— all of it chic. Setai is built as the kind of multi-roomed, Asian-flavored Wall Street escape you'll want to frequent for power breakfasts, midday martini-tinged deal making and a little post-work relaxation. a few perks: gratis daily breakfast and regular member parties, a number of complimentary Zen spa treatments at the Setai Spa, membership and training at the Setai Fitness Studio, and a private member's lounge and bar carved out of SHO Shaun Hergatt. SHO, which opened earlier this month, is the first completed part of the Setai, which also includes luxury condos (from $815,000) and a gym, spa and private bar for members of the Setai Club ($5,000 a year), all coming on line later this summer. If it all sounds a little 2005 or 2006, that’s because it is: projects like these were, of course, conceived well before the economic downturn. (The Setai’s general manager Ronan Henaff told me that club memberships are nonetheless selling well, and 115 of the 167 condos have been sold and this is a luxurious F.A.C.T.
