S: Is for the indefinite sentence!

I add these two pictures to demonstrate the horror of what is the reality. The 1st is a poster easily brought up when you type in NAMBLA and hit images. Does this look consentual or of a child being abducted? And what does this statement have to do with love?

This is one of the faces of NAMBLA 27-year-old Timothy David Martyn Cox. Pedophiles look like everybody else.

Recently in the news a Global Pedophile Ring Investigation took down 700 Suspects from 35 countries. NAMBLA which stands for North American Man-Boy Love Association is in association with MBLA which is universal. The articles state that only 31 young children, were photographed and molested live on streaming video. That in itself is a misrepresentation of the truth. On his website alone were the images of 75,960 children well over the stated 31. The F.A.C.T. is the amount of children who are involved are countless and well into the thousands if not millions. Sounds improbable? When John Walsh's son Adam was taken he tried to shed some light on the horrors of reality. Most times when children are missing they have ended up in a branch of some child exploitation/pornography ring. According to the FBI 876,213 children go missing each year in the US. Add to that a relevant number for each country world wide and the total number becomes staggering. Enough to make the average person tune out from the sheer audacity of it all.

27-year-old Timothy David Martyn Cox, ran the site from his bedroom in Suffolk, England. The irony, is he lived there with his parents. A judge sentenced Cox on Monday to an indefinite jail term. Finally someone understood what an abused child goes through. As I have stated in previous columns "Imagine the voices to be heard". What did the American judges hand out to two of the thirteen men from here? 19-20 years with-out parole. Considering the ages of the two men, when they get out of the system they will be able to molest again.

The global network molests infants as young as 2 months old, according to the president of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. "We're seeing that the victims are becoming younger and younger." 39 percent of child pornography offenders have images of children under 6; 19 percent have images of kids younger than 3.

In January, 33-year-old Gordon Mackintosh, tried to restart but investigators tapped into the operation and thwarted it. Molestation and the images captured are in demand.

Despite all this NAMBLA is on the web www.nambla.org. Google it and the results are 328,000. Their meetings are held in public libraries and schools. The ACLU defends them. Notable people are involved and they include Allen Ginsberg (check Wikipedia), Senators, Congressman, Heads of Companies, and those in power, or not. It is surprising when in 1997, a 10-year-old Massachusetts boy named Jeffrey Curley was abducted by two NAMBLA members, choked on a gasoline-soaked rag when he wouldn’t consent to sex, was murdered, and then sexually assaulted. NAMBLA members made national headlines. NAMBLA also has a publication called “The Rape and Escape Manual.” Its actual title is “The Survival Manual: The Man’s Guide to Staying Alive in Man-Boy Sexual Relationships” and instructed how to lure children into sex. A Texas Principle published "How to make love to a child" and when this book was discovered he got a slap on the wrist and was still allowed to keep his job.

This whole article is based on F.A.C.T.S easily found.
Now the question is what's next?

T: Is for the Temples found and soon to be lost!

With the emerging waters of the Nile advancing at an alarming rate archaeologist are hurrying to excavate unearthed civilizations. Recently archaeologists reported finding the once African kingdom of Kush. Its reign ascended 500 years from 1500-2000 B.C., and exerted control over the 750-mile stretch of the Nile Valley. This makes Kush a major player in the political and military dynamics of the time which traded heavily in gold. Over the last few years, archaeological teams from Britain, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Sudan and the United States have raced to dig at sites that will soon be underwater. Trying to salvage temples erected by prominate pharaohs, the temples at Abu Simbel and Philae were dismantled and restored on higher ground. Also found was a cemetery containing the remains of about 90 people who were buried during the 400 years Kush's gold-processing center was in operation.

With the loss of history with the tragic looting of Iraqi museums and other cultural institutions shouldn't we fight to preserve what we can? Next year's opening of the Merowe Dam will flood thousands of archaeological sites. But the dam will be a great benefit to the people of Sudan, so of course we can't stand in the way of progress. Soon the temples of the Nile will look like this and that's a F.A.C.T.

C: Is for Tragedy Tomorrow Comedy Tonight.......

I was invited by producer Jesse Raynes and his company Praxis Productions to see "Happy Sunshine Kung Fu Flower" a multimedia sketch comedy with music. The plot (and I use this term loosely) follows a group of outsourced Japanese Ninjas hired by China to infiltrate the American Psyche by taking on roles in the Media, Pop Culture, and Politics. Sounds great right? Not after the amazingly funny comic who stole the show. Had he been the writer I would of signed on to bring this show forward before seeing the show. The multi talented cast makes this a show to see. Lynn Andrews, Colette Hawley, Brooke Ishibashi, Vince Madero, Stephen Reyes, Stephen Sheffer and Heath Calvert deliver accents galore, movement a plenty and all with precise delivery. I was impressed by these 7 talents and felt I was discovering something new in them. As I researched this project I learned that the cast keeps changing. Note to production team: these performances are strong. You should always keep the best. You should however dump the venue and not hire a comedian to proceed your show whose material is better than your writing

Keith Anthony is who stole the show by way of his writing and delivery of some of the best sarcastic humor I have ever seen. He is a voice of reckoning. Offering a point of view that is an alternative. Filled with a zest for life, culture and country, expect to laugh until you cry. His in your face talks of sex, the difference between men and women and those cell phones glued to your ears will have you rolling. If you are looking for a comedian that is entertaining Keith Anthony is a must on your list of things to definitely do. I can tell you he made 5 fans that night and I will never be able to look at the religious zealots in Times Square with out roaring and remembering.

Situated in Manhattan's Meatpacking District at 353 West 14th Street (just east of Ninth Avenue). Comix's chic interior design, 5,000 feet showroom, which allowed for ample elbow-room to spread should of thrilled me. Besides paying to get in (Thank-God I didn't), all shows have a two item minimum. Normally not a problem, however when the wine is undrinkable and when added with the spinach dip lands me in the bathroom unable to finish the show, I have a problem. It's also highly expensive, expect to pay $30 or more. I wouldn't of cared but the staff is a nightmare. Disorganized, rude and unable to handle any situation. One of my guests had to go to the bathroom at the end. Our check had arrived, We added the credit card. The waiter was overwhelmed and had not gotten to us. My guest was put through HELL just to pee. Comedy is about making you laugh and when the venue interrupts the moment all is lost. There are a lot of talented out of work comedians who are working as waiters. Maybe you should search out some fresh talent instead of the untalented or the bitter and that is a F.A.C.T.

A: Is for the Naked Arts

Come to Cocoa Exchange Rooftop for NAKED CITY ARTS Silent Auction Saturday, June 23rd 2007, at 6 pm. Featuring Artworks by Roger Carmona, Jon Coffelt, Kay Kyungeun Cho, Chris Eastland, Harry Hancock, Greg Lindquist, Jason Losko, Adam Rosenthal, Sean Slemon, and Michael Ricardo Andreev.

The reason to attend....is a series of paintings by Michael Ricardo-Andreev called Heraldic Stories in which he uses symbols as a new form of language. During the Middle Ages, the identification of warriors was thought emblazon shields. Andreev's paintings give a contemporary interpretation of this communication through abstract expressionism. Using blade oil paints and ivory pigment for his background a three dimension quality is achieved. Michael has made a name for himself in the Art World having been shown at The Whitney and other Major Galleries in Soho, New York and Overseas. Describing his style he states the anatomy of form and spirit infuses with vague perceptions of space. This is my reality. He interprets his work saying "Conscious movements emerges in increments ten fold, giving way to victorious visions of a now numb conscious state. Symbols at times become ambassadors of a soon to come dialect which will eventually be visually and physically digested creating a complex compost carpeting available surfaces. It's result a clear and distinct harmony."

To see this unique artists perspective as well as supporting a truly wonderful group show RSVP at miru@nakedcityarts.com or 917.399.8668. I have known Michael for awhile and he will intrigue and that's a F.A.C.T.

F: Is for the Big Drops of Fashion

Last Wednesday I wrote about Flirt Cosmetics and promised a follow up article on the fashion spot that hosted this celebrity event. Synonymous with chic women's fashion and accessories, Big Drop New York City has an array of comfortable items all displayed in a modulating color scheme. Located at 425 West Broadway in Soho, this store has been a staple since the 90's at the 174 Spring Street location. Offering a smart selection of cutting edge brands such as Rich & Skinny, Anlo, J Brand, Rock & Republic, Alexander Wang, Development, Noir, Alexis Hudson and many more. Here you can buy the best in everything from Denim to bags to cotton summer dresses. Big Drop is a "must stop" destination for women seeking the latest trends. All merchandise is hand selected to preserve a fashion forward attitude. Incredibly cute clothing which is unique, fun, and sexy-yet-elegant. This sought after boutique has expanded. Big Drop will soon be in Miami in the Gansevoort Hotel. Check out 1321 Third Ave and Men 1325 Third Ave for your version of this trendy all in one shop. While some things in the boutique can come with a pretty high price tag, others are pretty reasonable - it really depends on the item. I can tell you that you can find the perfect outfit and that is a F.A.C.T.
