S: Is for the social and economical car race

From solar-powered Wi-Fi to robots fueled by bacteria, researchers are rethinking the way we power our lives. To stay on top of the latest advances in energy technology, check back here for continuously updated coverage.

In the spring, Phoenix Motorcars will come out with an all-electric sport-utility truck (pictured). Phoenix Motorcars will only produce around 500 cars in 2007, but it hopes to expand production to more than 6,000 in 2008. It will primarily sell cars to fleet purchasers. The truck will cost about $45,000.

General Motors hopes to shock the world with its new all-electric concept car, the Chevrolet Volt, which was shown off at the 2007 North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January. It has a range of 40 city miles after a six-hour charge from a household electrical outlet. The electric car sports huge 21-inch wheels in front. It also includes a 3-cylinder, turbocharged engine for extended travel.

The Tesla Roadster is an all-electric sports car. It costs $90,000 and doesn't come out until next year, but it is hot. Something to make the male libido do a somersault. The car and its technology were unveiled at a promotional event in Santa Monica, Calif. There are more models but the rest seemed more outer space than reality based. Maybe we could use a Jules Verne in this century to give us insight and that is a F.A.C.T.

The Morning Glory by Equibal Labs is a combination of gently replenishing products designed to be used by professional aestheticians for their clients. Scientifically it helps skin that's starting to show lines, wrinkles and other signs of aging, fatigue, stress or a harsh environment. Consisting of a four-step process, the system cleanses your skin and fights bacteria. In the final stages it firms, lifts and moisturizes your skin, restoring texture, firmness and vibrancy. I was given this product and tried it and am still using it and it really does work. I also recommend the green mud mask which brightens your skin. By using chlorophyll-rich mud from glacier-fed lakes they’ve created a product that enhances cell regeneration and soothes dry, stressed skin. It even helps to heal damaged skin.

This new products can enhance your life and that's a F.A.C.T.

C: Is for the ever changing club Lotus

Rated as one of the "Top 5 New York City Hot spots" by Zagat. This three-level restaurant, bar and club space is located right in the heart of the meatpacking district at 409 W 14th Street. Lotus is a pioneer in the trendy hangout industry and is one of the the reasons the Meatpacking district has become such a hot spot.
In the VIP-rich, Sex and the City-saturated Meatpacking district you’re either going to love it or find it too posh for words. The decor is done up in soft shades of caramel and chocolate while the spaces to base yourself include a two-room dining area (one by the bar); a balcony lounge furnished with sofas, carpets and cushions; and a large square basement space to dance the night away. The menu is pricey with an assortment of delectable creations to entice. It is also imaginative and playful, with great appetizers, entrees and deserts - make sure to save room for the Chocolate Volcano Cake. After dinner, the dining tables clear out around 10/11pm and the main room becomes a dance floor. Granted the dance floor is not huge and can get crowded, but it is certainly adequate for dancing and having a good time. The downstairs area is something you should check out, it is sexy and people congregated next to the DJ booth. Playing more urban/hip hop music with a great dance vibe the lower/downstairs lounge is the place to hang out. If you come for dinner, you won't have to wait in line to get in (or pay the cover). Why Lotus? You come here for the designer-dressed crowd of suits and fashion types who love the drinks mixed and mashed to perfection by the dashing bar staff. Celebrity watching is also still intact. You can catch the Olsen Twins, Paris Hilton, Bono (U2), P-Diddy, Jay Z, Wayans Brothers, Jessica Alba, Denzel Washington & Bruce Willis and the infamous Lindsay Lohan mostly on Sunday night. Yes it is the new Friday/Saturday night. I suggest you try the muddled watermelon martini, it will surely cool you down and thats a F.A.C.T.

A: Is for the merger between art and corporation

Lexus is now changing the way it does business and it has become subliminal. Push/Pull is a video art installation made by Barcelona's artist Pascual Sisto. He is now based is Southern California. Push/Pull consists of two screens filled with cars. Lexus cars! Showing now at 460 Degrees Gallery it is a traveling art show sponsored in full by Lexus.

Lexus is not alone in merging art with advertisement/sponsorship. ". Toyota, is exploiting hip hop artists with a Scion on a new reality Television show called "Stomping Grounds However Lexus is unique with 460 Degrees as it traveled to New York, LA, Miami and Chicago this past year and it will go to Milan's Furniture Fair this year. There have been failures in this newest market. Sony Play Station tried to get graffiti artists to ensue their success. They attempted to paste guerrilla ads over their work and ended up with a riot.

New York's n Architects installation which was featured in the courtyard of the world Financial Trade Center was also Lexus sponsored. Their sponsorship budget is $60,000.00 to target these unknown demographics.Lexus did extensive research and found art and culture figure predominately in marketing.

Curator Sebastien Agneessens has been hired for Coco-Cola, Sharp, Diesel and Starbucks. Artists in New York, Miranda Lichenstein, and Belgian Arne Quinze have already been approached.

Is this a sell out or the way things are going? Agneessens states "What's there to object to they have a open checkbook" and that is a F.A.C.T.
