S: Is for Spraying your way to Health!

Last weekend I went to the beauty show at the Javits and there were only a few things that caught my eye. The 1st time I went through I some how missed an isle but on my way back to another booth Sprayology caught my eye. I have been hooked ever since. Founded by two sisters who were stressed by their lifestyles they started cleaning their bodies homeopathically, which if you know is a practice which normally consists of several bottles. Highly cumbersome and not very practical the sisters sought to change this and created Sprayology. Finally there is a product that combines the ancient practice of healing along with the modern world and comes out looking beautiful. An entire line of these oral sprays help promote beauty and well-being from within. Combining natural ingredients which rapidly absorbed under the tongue. This allows for absorption into the bloodstream, bypasses the digestive tract and stomach, thus avoiding the standard metabolic process. Sprayology helps the body replenish and is FDA approved. Sprayology has 20 homeopathic formulas and four vitamin sprays supplying energy to temporarily relieve the symptoms of aging, allergies, burnout as well as 17 other problems. I immediately tried cold and flu and Immune as I was not feeling well. Within a couple of hours I was feeling great. Burned out from drinking and eating too much and sleeping too little? Party ease is your new best friend. I am excited to try diet power and body balance for not only will it help control my appetite but it will help with my thyroid and adrenals. There is Bone Builder that has been scientifically to proven to build increased bone density and that makes is one amazing product. I gave sleep ease to my landlord and she finally slept. She is now as hook as much as I am. Think I am raving too much....not! After the flu symptoms left my body I went on to digest ease and what has happened has been a miracle. I take it after I eat and I am actually digesting. I watched as my body that use to bloat after eating, stayed the way it should. When people first see Sprayology they think it is a perfume because of its packaging. The truth is this product has your body sweetly singing the songs it should. When buying it you may think it is pricey at $20-$48, but it is not. I challenge you to add the vitamins that one spray encompasses. Now you know not only do these products work but in the long run they will save you money and that is a healthy F.A.C.T.

T: Is for Treatments that Sooth and DeTox!

1st remember the place to be tonight at 7:00 PM is Prime for the 3rd Annual Hampton's Preview Party & Benefit for Soles4Souls.com. Not only will you have a good time but you’ll be helping those in need. Look for Wednesday’s column to hear all about what you will miss.

There were rumors about a new form of bliss living at a new sleep spa called Yelo and I wanted to check it out. Tuesday I had that chance, thanks to Debbie from Sprayology which is my subject tomorrow, so definitely tune in. To start with when you walk in you are greeted in soothing colors and are offered a wonderful blend of teas. You choose from an array of sleep services off a menu. YeloNaps are available in 20-40 minutes in length, ranging from $15-$28. Once the time is selected you then choose music and aromatherapy to sooth you into contentment. Now you are ready to begin and are lead to a room reminiscent of a space module. The YeloChair is extremely comfortable and with your legs elevated above your heart, you can feel your body slow down. Though I did relax I did not sleep. Part of the reason is that though they cover you with a blanket, I was cold. Also I am a huge aromatherapy fan and the scent was too light. There were also too many breaks in the music that it keep jarring me as it switched. I could see how in warm summer's day this could be deeply satisfying and though I did not sleep, I was relaxed. This power nap salon located at 315 West 57th Street, does offer those who have meetings all day a solution to be freshen up. Surveys have shown that naps, when taken in the workplace, can increase productivity and reduce "general crabbiness." There are also add on choices of reflexology and massages. Yelo's prices are reasonable and that is something to purr about.

Next up is the "Goddess Repair Shop" for toxin release. Though I have not had a chance to try this, their menu was handed to me at Yelo. Organ cleanse is something that is negated in how we take care of ourselves. In a treatment a metal plate is roll on your stomach where it will read the frequency of where the toxins are and releases them. The machine also hooks onto your ears with these little plugs which takes into a deep mediation state. When you cleanse it stimulates the liver and gallbladder. Every organ and cell has cellular memories. Organs have emotions, the liver connects with anger, the gallbladder with resentment. So people are going to feel emotional for days afterwards, but hey its better than therapy. By doing a cleanse twice a year you will ward off stones and other problems that can erupt. There is also a Miracle Facial which isn't your run-of-the-mill facial with masques and blemish-poppings. It’s an almost two-hour treatment with the same machine used for the organs called the Reparer that makes you look better. Rolling over your face, it can tell the build-ups of toxins, scar tissue, etc. I have read testimonials that after treatments it is like seeing a plastic surgery without the knife. You can even get a butt lift! This machine does everything! It is pricey with a few treatments. But, compared to what a face-lift would cost. An organ cleanse is $125 and a facial is $215

One of the newest product out there is a Bio-Energizer Foot Spa. Its not that the treatment is new, it's just that it is being brought to the publics eyes. They are affordable enough that you can do this at home. The treatment is in the form of a detoxifying foot bath and foot pads. The Japanese came out with it first, but basically they’re all the same. There isn’t any one that’s better than the other. You use it for 15 minutes to 30 minutes every other day. Some of them claim a little bit more than what they do and people are always looking for that quick fix, including myself. It does however help pull out toxins, which is a great release. The foot pads are good too. But you can break out in rashes if you’re really toxic when you use them. I recommend using them [typically overnight] for a maximum of two weeks, then stop for a few months.

We live in a world where toxins inhabit and we can all use help and that is a F.A.C.T.

C: Is for a cosmetic line that also adds to your checkbook

Arbonne, is one of the fastest growing company focused on health care and skin care products. They claim the products are all natural. This vision for skin care products was developed in Switzerland more than 25 years ago. Based on natural, botanical principles, that include both inner and outer health and beauty products that are pure, safe, beneficial! This is also a multilevel company. I used some of the products and found them to be expensive but you do get what you pay for and they do work. Here is a list of some of the things I tried and found beneficial.

SeaSource Detox is when your energy levels are low, your body aches and your mind is drained and it is time to purify your body. By helping to rid the body of the chemicals you ingest through food and air you feel cleaner and healthier than ever.

They have an aromatherapy line creating massage oils, medicines, skin care products, perfumes and cosmetics. Aromatherapy blends pure essential oils that are extracted from plants and trees and is as much of an art as it is a science.

Chocolate Weight Loss are part of a diet plan that include nutritional supplements and even a "contouring cellulite cream" and anti-fat scrub. The chews allegedly help curb appetite and boost energy and they do it in flavors such as chocolate, caramel, Berry Burst and peanut butter. Arbonne Weight Loss Chews are $19.50 for a bag of 30 but they did curb my appetite.

Nutrimin-C anti-aging formula made my skin look as if I slept for a week. It was tight and refreshed.

I can not I can not say if you should go into the business but I found the products to work and if you need some place to where them, try Thursday, May 8th at 7:00 PM at the 3rd Annual Hampton's Preview Party & Benefit being held at Prime located on 28th between 10th & 11. Chic New Yorkers will gather together to raise funds for Soles4Souls.com a non-profit organization that is eco friendly. Fashion, prizes, hot girls and guys, a gift bag and so more. It is a chance to look good for a cause and that for me is a fun F.A.C.T.

A: Is for Art and Science!

Inspiration comes from scientific theories resinating within Nicola Evangelisti sculpture. He embodies his art and ecases it in Plexiglas, lightboxs and neon. Energy and infinite space are amplified in light reminiscent of lightning. Believing art and science are two sides of the same coin, he uses the process of questioning to investigate and help him cope with social and personal issues. Winning the Targetti Light Award he continues to promote light as an expressive tool, caring deeply for the theme of light. His passion for Lucio Fontana’s Spatialism, brought on two cycles that express his work: the “crilex” and the “mirrors”. The “crilex” is a cycle of works developed by a technique using inner flections on plastic matter through combustion, very similar to fractal graphics. In 2001 he introduces the mirror as a media so that light could become free. Creating the piece "Big Bang: in 2002 he showed at the Art Museum in Warsaw. A solo exhibition at the BGH Gallery in Santa Monica introduced the monograph “Luminis Ora” where it was published. His writing “fractal geometry as a new principle for the non figurative arts” brought math and art as one. In 2003 Florence, New York's Chelsea Art Museum and the Italian Cultural Institute celebrated him. Now into visual interpretation of scientific theories that link the concept of space and time, his video “Space-time Distortions” elaborates Einstein’s theory of the universe. A field of gravity behaves just as a lens in producing light distortion, and creates fabulous scenarios. A dimension of space and time brings a balance between poetry and science.

Fiorella Terenzi, an astrophysical and musician, composed the music theme and transforms the elctro wave by the stars into a fascinating sound. Math can sometimes be confusing but when combined with an artistic mind and inspirational music it becomes out of this world and that is a F.A.C.T.

F: Is for Functions under the sea.

Once upon a time in a former life I lived on a schooner in Manhattan. That experience made me love living on the water. To some, it seemed like I was roughing it. The truth was except for the people I adored it and could of lived like that forever. Today on CNN there were places that made me long for that time. Though more chic these places offer the beauty and rawness that comes from one of our greatest resources our oceans. So follow me for places we long to be.

The world’s first underwater spa, is located near Morocco but there are two sister spas, the Fortress in Sri Lanka and the Desert Palm in Dubai. Using the healing powers of lime. Glass floors and views of surrounding sea life, with underwater rooms offering massage and other specialized treatments. Per Aquum Resort & Spas name means 'Health via water' creating balance.
A place where one can travel to and let the thoughts of yesterday be washed away making room for fresh inspiration and energy to manifest your dreams. To learn more log onto www.peraquum.com

This next place is the coolest destination ever. Jules’ Undersea Lodge in Key Largo, Florida. To enter the Lodge, one must actually scuba dive 21 feet beneath the surface of the sea. Jules’ really is underwater. You enter through an opening in the bottom of the habitat. It's like discovering a secret underwater clubhouse. Hot showers, a well stocked kitchen, books, music, video movies and cozy beds await. Don't scuba dive, don't despair, a three hour class. “To live beneath the sea was once just the dream of science fiction writers…Now it is a reality. Here is a new step for mankind, the advent of undersea living, the taming of the last frontier on Earth…Inner Space”. to learn more log onto www.jul.com

In Västerås, Sweden Utter Inn an art project by Mikael Genberg offers underwater accommodations. The facility is entered through a typical Swedish red house located on the surface of the water. Fulfill your desire to have your own little house on your own (tiny) private island. Sleep soundly while surrounded by fish almost 10 feet below the surface of Lake Mälaren. The guests of Otter Inn are taken out in an inflatable boat, they get instructions and are then left alone, unless they selected the deluxe version with supper.

On Rangali Island, Maldives which is neat Sri Lanka is the one of the world’s all glass aquarium dining experiences. The Ithaa Undersea Restaurant, set more than 16 feet below the surface, has a 360-degree view of the Indian Ocean’s marine life and nearby reefs, with seating for only 14. To get there you descend down a spiral staircase.

Last on this list is the Red Sea Star Underwater Restaurant in Eilat, Israel. A magical atmosphere of beauty and peace, while observing through giant windows the colorful underwater coral garden and an endless shifting panorama of marine life.
The restaurant of the Red Sea Star has seating for 105 guests. It also serves as a “green” project, with associated marine experts working to preserve the surrounding coral reef. Next to almost every table in the restaurant there are two personal windows through which to observe the underwater surroundings. Ultimately, it all adds up to a wonderful exotic feast of the sense, and is in no doubt, one of the most romantic places in the world and this is a dreamy F.A.C.T.

S: Is for services that offer small pleasures

This post is late due to a commercial I was filming for Sam's Club and Proctor and Gamble. I was at Sam's for a long time bored out of my mind so I went browsing. I was amazed at the amount of useless items that were stock piled. I was amazed that I did not want to truly go shopping. So continuing on my journey on items that should be stocked and why, I give you the following three products and services to consider.

Topricin: As I get older I have discovered that I am getting arthritis in my hands. As the weather is damp or is changing there is this dull ache. While I was at the Green Expo last weekend I was given this product by a well known Chicago talk show host. Topricin is a homeopathic medicine that is almost a miracle. The first day I used it I was amazed at how good I felt. The dull ache instantaneously went away. It was a dramatic difference. It is safe for the environment , your pets and you.

Four Chimneys Farm Winery: Has Certified Organic Wine and I think Four Chimneys makes some of the best “fruit wines” (theirs are a grape wine base with fruit soaked in) in the Finger Lakes, they are all natural with no preservatives or flavorings added and I think you can taste the difference. Peach/ Blueberry/ Honeydew, Each of these 3 wines expresses the fruit very intensely with a delicate sweetness, when I tried the Honeydew it tasted like you were biting into a fresh Honeydew melon. Here is a great reason besides the taste. Resveratrol a powerful component of red wine fights lung disease. Published in the scientific journal "Thorax", showed drinking wine with resveratrol eases the inflammatory process in progressive lung disease, and may even lead to a treatment. Long known to be a potent anti-cancer and cardioprotective substance, resveratrol may also have the effect of prolonging life. It is found in red wines due to the skin contact during processing, and is particularly prevalent in cool and humid climates. Now there is a reason to drink.

Zen Home Cleaning: Approaches the home and nurtures the home as a whole. Conscious of environmental issues their green home cleaning products are the best on the market and are also available to buy. Their services are a perfect marriage of luxury and Green without every compromising the harmonic balance of the planet. Do you want to Indulge yourself or that mother to be or your own mother with something completely special and unique? This is the answer. Don't think this is the best services ever? Watch Deanna Hains, founder of Zen Home Cleaning, talks about her eco-friendly and non-toxic home cleaning service on the sundance channel.

Life needs small pleasures that are also solutions these are services that will help change your life and that is a F.A.C.T.
