F: Is for Fashion Up-Dates!

Since it is Memorial Day and everyone is away here is an up-date on two fashion events I have written about before. First up is Big Drop New York City (www.bigdropnyc.com). Big news here: They are opening up at the Gansevoort South Hotel (www.gansevoortsouthhotel.com) in Florida. I attended an event held at the Soho location last week that was VIP studed. Braving the drizzle, the crowd included new Gansevoort group CEO Susan Alper and Big Drop owner Shy Iland, as well fashionable socials and gents-about town including Emma Snowdon-Jones, David Gruning, Lucia Tait and Amanda Doll Sheppard of Coup de Coeur, Douglas Marshall and Melissa Foss. Attendees were treated to a sneak preview of the new Big Drop store, opening in Miami in June and raffle prizes included a weekend for two at the hotel, a shopping spree at Big Drop, a Cut/Color at Cutler Salon and a personalized shopping tour from Coup de Coeur. Yours truly won the cut and color. Don't worry Stacy I am loyal to you. I loved the skinny white jean by J brand $170 and the hyper color mood dress in stone and pink $70. All you do is blow and it changes color. Now that can add to some fun in the sun.

On the 11th I wrote about Michele Negri collection for the Spring and Summer. I am adding some photo's of that collection along with some details so you can do some on-line shopping.
