F: Is for the styling of Jane Eadie

Born and raised in England. Jane Eadie studied art and design in London, Switzerland and France before becoming Assistant to His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales. Jane worked in St. James’s Palace, London and at other royal residences in England and Scotland. Her role included foreign travel with the Prince as part of the Royal party. Pursuing her love of travel, Jane moved to Kenya. Traveling extensively through South America (Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina and Brazil), shaped her aesthetics. Upon returning to London, Jane was the assistant to the high profile UK-based jeweler Theo Fennel, whose celebrity clients include Elton John, David Beckham and Posh Spice. Ralph Lauren's company Polo hired her and she worked in their London, Geneva and finally New York City corporate offices. In New York Jane continued to expand her knowledge of the craft of jewelry-making by attending FIT. In 2006 Jane left her role as assistant to the President of Polo to pursue her dream of opening a jewelry boutique. That store opened its doors on 248 Elizabeth Street in New York’s Nolita district in early 2007. Employing a series of designer from her extensive travels is what makes this store a stand out. Many of these designers are available exclusively which means the buyer is sure to find something unique. The designers include:

Argentinian designer Celedonio has a unique aesthetic, combining glamour with modernity, yielding beautiful necklaces, bracelets, earrings and pins. Working with pearls, crystals and semi-precious stones he creates pieces that have become extremely popular with foreign celebrities and royalty including Maxima of Holland, who frequently wears his designs.

JMR Fontan, the Brazilian sisters are influenced by the colors and textures of nature and architectural purity. Best known for their incredible cuffs which incorporate semi precious stones and wood. Their most recent collection is based on the work of Gustav Klimt.

Italian design house Ziio uses time-honored techniques such as the ancient art of Murano glass making and collaborations with Christian Lacroix, Missoni and Studio Mendini.

Daniela de Marchi is inspired by natural forms including these in bold cocktail rings, delicate stacking rings and bangle bracelets, earrings and necklaces.

Good Charma – Best known for their charm bracelets, are already popular in New York. Pam Fink has produced several pieces exclusively for Jane Eadie.

Viver de Arte produces a Brazilian collection of earthy bags uses recycled canvas hand painted works of art.

When publicist Laura Rubin sent me the information on her latest client I knew I had to check her out as Laura's taste is impeccable and she has never steered me wrong. Again she was right on target and that is a F.A.C.T.
