The reason to attend....is a series of paintings by Michael Ricardo-Andreev called Heraldic Stories in which he uses symbols as a new form of language. During the Middle Ages, the identification of warriors was thought emblazon shields. Andreev's paintings give a contemporary interpretation of this communication through abstract expressionism. Using blade oil paints and ivory pigment for his background a three dimension quality is achieved. Michael has made a name for himself in the Art World having been shown at The Whitney and other Major Galleries in Soho, New York and Overseas.

To see this unique artists perspective as well as supporting a truly wonderful group show RSVP at miru@nakedcityarts.com or 917.399.8668. I have known Michael for awhile and he will intrigue and that's a F.A.C.T.
